If you are interested in ordering a cake with Dulcerella, contact u as soon as you know the date of the event and you have booked the venue. Our goal is to make sure your cake and desserts have our devoted attention. Wedding cakes are booked usually 6-9 months ahead. In wedding season, dates are fully booked months ahead. Depending on availability, we can accommodate short notice orders/birthday cakes, no less than 14 days.


The cake and dessert table is the centerpiece at your reception and it can set up the mood of the party. We would love to design your cake to suit up your personal style and requirements, and to fit your budget and number of servings.


Here at Dulcerella, we use only the best ingredients and we believe that a cake should taste as good as it looks, if not better. All of our cakes are made using only real butter, eggs, good quality chocolate and pure flavorings. They are moist and flavorful without being too sweet.
For the cake filling and frosting we use mostly Swiss meringue buttercream, which is light and creamy, making those who don’t like cake, to like Dulcerella’s cakes.


Taking in consideration the final look of the cake, it can be frosted in any flavor buttercream, or covered in fondant. The fondant is only a thin covering for the cake that will give a smoother look and it can be colored without worrying about stained teeth. All the cakes are frosted in buttercream before the fondant is applied. We use mostly homemade marshmallow fondant, or Satin Ice brand upon request for kosher options. If a white look is desired, we recommend white chocolate buttercream or fondant. Elaborate textures and design are available only in fondant finish.


Dulcerella’s cakes have 4 layers of cake and are 4″ or taller. We include a cutting guide to help you get the number of servings you need. Please see the flavors list for options or desserts page for other desserts options.


We will do our best so your cake is a delicious piece of art. We are reserving the right to refuse an order that we believe we cannot do it or it does not reflect Dulcerella’s style and brand.

How booking works

While for a birthday cake, the process of booking is much simpler, here is what you can expect when booking a wedding cake/large order with Dulcerella:

Consultation/Tasting

After innitial inquiry, a short initial phone conversation will be scheduled, followed by a tasting session, when we will meet, taste cake and discuss details.

Booking

The booking includes signing a cake contract and paying a deposit.

Finalize

A month to 10 days before the wedding, the last details are settled, like final payment and adding extra servings if necessary.

Delivery

Your order will be delivered on your wedding day, before the event starts.
