You know when you go somewhere and you know a lot of people and you feel like home? That’s kind of how it was Anne and Luke’s wedding. Not only I worked with many friends vendors, but the groom’s cousin and his wife came to say “hi”. They were Julie and Grant, one of Dulcerella’s 2021 couples, which told me how their top tier they had for their recent anniversary was still delicious!
Back to Anne and Luke, their wedding was on Luke’s parents beautiful property in Boise. Bringing the cake to the reception tent got me going down a quite steep outdoor stairs, having one of the guests recording me in the hope of getting the latest viral video. But, how could I do that to this beautiful and delicious cake? The cake was covered in a rustic spatula texture in buttercream, and the flowers were in a dramatic arrangement in front of the cake. The most adorable cake topper was made by the bride herself. Besides the 2 cake flavors: “Let’s toast to it” and Lemon cake with white chocolate buttercream and raspberries (the cake signage was slightly off), they also enjoyed macarons in three different flavors: pistachio, hazelnut praline and huckleberry.
